Wild Flower Birthday, Adventurous Sky, Birthday Card, Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I have a birthday card to share with you. Please read on to see how it was made.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock, it opens on the right and the fold is on the left. I cut a 4" x 5-1/4"piece of Basic White card stock for the layer.

On that layer I taped a piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Wild Flower Birthday" 12" x 12" package. I'm hoping in the new catalog that there are more packs of DSP that have punch out pieces. Those types of sheets make it easy to quickly put a card together.

A piece of Pool Party card stock was cut using the second largest die in the "Countryside Corners" set. On top of that is a piece of Basic White card stock that was textured using the "Distressed Tile" embossing folder after it was cut using the third largest die in that same set. I glued the textured piece to the Pool Party piece.

Next I popped out the pieces from a sheet in the package of DSP and I set them in place on the front of the card.  I used Dimensionals on the flowers and I used glue on the other pieces.

The words are from the "Adventurous Sky" bundle and were stamped using Old Olive ink. I cut them out using the die in that bundle. I snipped off the left end of that piece. That cut end was hidden behind the top leaf. I glued the words in place and I used a small Dimensional at the right end of it to hold it down. Without the Dimensional the end curled up. And that was it, the card was done.

This was such a quick and easy card to make. Plus pretty too. I just love this DSP package.

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's birthday card,
Wanda
