Wildflower Birthday, Unbounded Love, Birthday Card, Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I have a birthday card to share with you. There are SO many fun images in the "Wildflower Birthday" 12" x 12" package. I found this card on Instagram, I don't usually look there but I think there was a link that lead me to that page. You can see the original card here.  Please read on to see how it was made.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Pretty in Pink card stock. It opens on the bottom and the fold is on the top. I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock and taped it to the inside.

I cut another 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White and textured it using the "Distressed Tile" embossing folder. I glued that to the front of the card. If you want to save card stock you can cut this piece in half to it measures 4" x 2-5/8".

A 2-5/8" x 4" piece of Designer Series Paper (DPS) was cut from the "Wildflower Birthday" package. The words are from the "Unbounded Love" bundle and were stamped using black Memento ink. Then it was glued to the textured piece of Basic White. If  you're cutting your Basic White piece in half you are going to want to make sure you butt the DSP tightly to it.

The cake is from the same package of DSP. It came from a whole sheet of die cut images. This cake is so pretty and I thought I would look for a card to make using it. You get 2 per package! The cake was set in place using Dimensionals.

The tassel banner on the upper right corner is from the same sheet and it was set in place using Dimensionals. I snipped the ends after I set it in place.

A few rhinestones were added to the front. They are retired but it was what I had on hand.  And that was it, the card was done.

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's birthday card,
Wanda
