Wildflower Birthday, Labeled With Love, Birthday Card, Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I have another birthday card to share with you using the "Wildflower Birthday" 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper (DSP). Please read on to see how it was made.

The base of my card is a folded sheet of Basic White card stock. It opens on the bottom and the fold is on the top.

I cut a Pool Part card stock at 3-3/4" x 5" before I taped it to the card base I used the second and third largest rectangle dies from the "Nested Essentials" die set. I taped the dies so they wouldn't shift so I could cut out a frame. You also get the center part cut out but it can be saved for a future card (someday!). Once cut I taped it to the card base.

Next I cut a 4-1/2" x 3-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock and using my Blending Brush I scrubbed on some Pool Party ink over the are where the window will go. You can scrub all over the place but be careful not to color too close to the edge, you want to keep that white.

The DSP was cut next. It measures 4-1/4" x 3". I took the third largest die from the "Nested Essentials" set and cut out the window.

I glued the Pool Party frame over the DSP window. Then I taped the piece to the Basic White piece. Dimensionals were added to the back and it was set in place on top of the Pool Party piece.

The words are from the "Labeled with Love" bundle and were stamped on a scrap piece of Basic White card stock using Blueberry Bushell ink. I fussy cut around them. Dimensionals were added to the back and it was set in place on the right side of the card and the card was done!

This card has a lot of layers but they are SO worth it. I really like how it turned out.

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's birthday card,
Wanda
