The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. It opens on the right and the fold is on the left.
I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Highland Heather card stock for the layer and taped it to the card base. Then I cut a 3-3/4" x 5" piece of Basic White card stock for the top layer.
On the Basic White layer I stamped the circle of words from the "Elements of Texture" set using Smoky Slate ink. I taped this piece on top of the Highland Heather piece.
The words are from the "Heart Shaped" bundle. It was a Sale-a-Bration item. I used it because the piece was stamped and sitting on my worktable and I thought I should make some use of it before it gets ruined or lost. The bundle also has the die that was used here. I cut a piece of Highland Heather card stock at 9/16" x 2-7/8". I taped the word piece to it. Then I trimmed the corners with my scissors. Dimensionals were added to the back and the piece was set aside.
I cut the butterflies from the "Sketched Butterflies" bundle using Highland Heather card stock. These butterflies are already "stuck" together, they cut out as one piece. I cut pieces of Dimensionals and put them on the body part of the butterflies. I set them in place on the circle. I added some rhinestones to the center of each of the butterflies.
The word piece was set in place and the card was done.
This was such a super quick and easy card to make. I really like that circle of words.
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's thank you card,
Wanda
Love the script background for the pretty butterflies.
