The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. It opens on the bottom and the fold is on the top.
I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Petunia Pop card stock for the layer. On top of that is a Basic White piece of card stock that measures 3-3/4" x 5". I textured it using the "Starstruck" embossing folder (soon to retire). But before I textured it I stamped the heart image from the "Heart Shaped" bundle using Petunia Pop ink.
Once the piece was textured I glued it to the Petunia Pop piece and then that was taped to the card base.
Next I cut out a heart from a scrap piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Unbounded Beauty" 12" x 12" package. Three of the little flowers were cut from DSP and one from a scrap piece of Petunia Pop card stock. If you don't have a scrap piece you can cut from the center of the 4" x 5-1/5" piece before the Basic White textured piece is glued on. I cut the leaves using a die in the same bundle on a piece of Basic White card stock that had some Granny Apple Green ink scrubbed on it with a Blending Brush.
The words are from the "Unbounded Love" bundle and were stamped on a scrap piece of Basic White card stock using black Memento ink. I cut them out using a die from the "Nested Essentials" set, not remembering (or even looking) that the "Unbounded Love" bundle has some cute dies. Oh well, next time! Anyway, I cut the words out and added Dimensionals to the back.
I added the three little flowers on the left using small Dimensionals. Then I set the word piece in place. I added a flower to it too. Pearls were added to the centers of each flower and the card was done.
I am going to miss this set but I'll probably make more cards with it at a later date. I had a lot of fun playing with it during Sale-a-Brations. I think Sale-a-Brations should last longer than 2 months. By the time we order and get the items it's not even 2 months. But it is what it is. Anyway, I did have a fun time making this card and I like how quick it went together too.
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's birthday card,
Wanda
