The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. It opens on the right and the fold is on the left.
I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock and textured it using the "Distressed Tile" embossing folder. I glued that to the front of the card.
Next I cut a 1-1/2" x 4" piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Floral Delight" 12" x 12" package. I glued it to the bottom part of the textured piece.
The focal piece was cut at 2-1/2" x 3-3/4" using Basic White card stock. The Pecan Pie layer behind it was cut at 2-3/4" x 4". I taped the two pieces together and then glued it to the front of the card. I centered it as much as I could by eyeing it.
Now for the die cut pieces. The are from the "Delightful Wished" bundle. I cut the branch using Early Espresso card stock. For the solid part of the flowers I used Lemon Lolly card stock. For the flower details I used Daffodil Delight card stock. The leaves were cut using Old Olive and Garden Green card stock. For the center of the flowers I used the same DSP as was used at the bottom of the textured piece. I could have cut them right from that piece had I cut the focal layers first. But I didn't so I had to snip off a small piece of the DSP and use that. The "wishing" was cut using Garden Green for the word piece and Basic White for the back layer. I glued the word to the backing. Don't lose those little dots for the "i's". All of these pieces were glued together and then glued to the front of the card.
The words are from the same bundle and were stamped on a piece of Basic White card stock using black Memento ink. I cut them using a die in the same bundle. I set them in place using Dimensionals.
I had some yellowish glass rain drops from years ago so I glued a few of them in place on the front of the card. And that was it, the card was done.
This was a fun card to make. It has a lot of pieces but that didn't stop it from being fun to make. This is a very nice bundle to play with.
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's birthday card,
Wanda
