Storybook Moments, Storybook Friends, Simply Said, Birthday Card, Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I have a card to share with you that I found on Pinterest. I forgot to save the link to this card and I tried to search for it but I can no longer find it. Please read on to see how I put the card together.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. It opens on the bottom and the fold is on the top.

I cut a 4-1/8" x 5-3/8" piece of Boho Blue for the layer. Before taping it to the front of the card I cut the beautiful framed piece using the die from the "Storybook Friends" bundle. I set it aside.

Next I cut the Designer Series Paper (DSP) strips from the "Timeless Plaid" 6" x 6" stack.  They measure 1" x 5-1/8".  I cut two. I taped one to the upper part of the Boho Blue piece and the other to the bottom. I the center is a 1-1/2" piece of Crumb Cake card stock.

Once the pieces were taped in place I glued on the Boho Blue framed piece.

The cute critter was cut out of a piece of DSP from the "Storybook Moments" 12" x 12" package. I added tape to the back and set it in place in the center of the frame.

The words came next. The are from the "Simply Said" set and were stamped using Pecan Pie ink.

I added a couple of enamel dots that I had and I tied a hemp bow and glued it to the upper part of the frame. And the card was done.

This is a super quick and easy card to make. I'm SO loving this "Storybook Moments" and "Storybook Friends" bundle. I can't wait to play with it some more. It's those beautiful frames that really make the card.

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's birthday card,
Wanda
