The base of the card is a half-sheet of Crumb Cake card stock. It opens on the right and the fold is on the left.
I cut a 4-1/8" x 5-3/8" piece of Boho Blue card stock for the layer. On top of that is a 4" x 5-1/4"piece of DSP from the "Timeless Plaid" 6" x 6" stack. There's a lot of fun colors in this package.
Using the "Storybook Moments" 12" x 12" package of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from a sheet in there that's got all punch out characters. Aren't they adorable? This one used 5 of them.
For my card I cut a slit in the wheelbarrow so the duck would sit in it more than just be on top. And I also changed the word piece. I used the new "To the Point Label" punch on a scrap piece of Boho Blue card stock. I used my Blending Brush to scrub on some Boho Blue ink. I did this because I didn't use the punch on a scrap piece of card stock and it left an oil mark so to cover it I just "colored" it.
The words were stamped using black Memento ink on a piece of Basic White card stock. I used the second smallest rectangle from the "Nested Essentials" die set to cut them out. I added Dimensionals to the back and set it on top of the Boho Blue piece. Then I taped that to the front of the card.
The cut out pieces were added using Dimensionals. And for a final touch I added some colored (retired) "Candy Dots" to the front and the card was done.
This was such a fun card to make. There's two sheets so I can make another one sometime in the future (maybe LOL).
Thank you SO very much for taking your time for stopping in and seeing today's birthday card,
Wanda
