Storybook Moments, Choose Happy, Heart Shaped, Friendship Card, Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I found an adorable card on Pinterest that I just had to make.  You can see that card here. Please read on to see how it was made.

The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Crumb Cake card stock. A 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Crumb Cake card stock was cut for the layer. I used the blade of my scissors to scrap along the edges to give it a rough raised look.

The Designer Series Paper (DSP) is from the "Storybook Moments" 12" x 12" package. I cut it at 303/4" x 5". I taped it to the Crumb Cake layer piece and then I taped that to the card base.

Next I cut another piece of DSP from the same package. It measures 2-1/2" x 3-3/4". I taped it to a  2-1/4" x 4" piece of Basic Black card stock. I taped that to the front of the card.

Next came the fence. It's from the same DSP package, there's 2 sheets o
f punch out images. I trimmed some Dimensional pieces and added them to the ends of the fence and a strip in the middle.

The plant was added next and then the duck. I added a Dimensional to the bottom of the plant and one to the top of the head of the duck.

The "hello" is from the "Choose Happy" set and was stamped on a scrap piece of Basic White card stock using black Memento ink. I cut it out using the die from the "Heart Shaped" bundle. The piece is about 1-3/4" long. I added a Dimensional to each end and slipped it under the duck's neck area.  I added a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White to the inside of the card.  And that was it, the card was done.

This was such a fun card to make. I love how colorful it is and the characters are so much fun to play with.

Thank you SO much for taking your time to stop in and see today's friendship card find,
Wanda
