Storybook Friends, Storybook Moments, Friendship Card, Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I have a card to share with you that I found on the internet. You can see it here. I made a couple little changes but for the most part it's like the original.

The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Very Vanilla card stock. It opens on the right and the fold is on the left.

I cut a 3-7/8' x 5-1/8" piece of Very Vanilla and I textured it using the "Starstruck" embossing folder. It's one of the "Sale-a-Bration" free items.  I glued the piece to the card base.

Next I cut the Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Storybook Moments" 12" x 12" package. This piece came from a sheet that has a number of other designs on it. It's a fun sheet. It's like you get a huge sampling to play with.

The Mossy Meadow framed piece was cut using a die from the "Storybook Friends" bundle. I also cut a Very Vanilla frame because I needed the center of it. I glued the Mossy Meadow frame to the center of the piece of DSP and then I taped the Very Vanilla oval in place. I added Dimensionals to the back of the DSP and set it in place on the front of the card. That piece measures 3" x 4" in case you want to use some other DSP.

The cute little mouse in the cup is from the same "Storybook Moments" DSP package. There are two sheets of cut outs there. SO many cute characters.  I set it in place using Dimenisonals.

And lastly, the words are from the same "Storybook Friends" bundle and were stamped on a scrap piece of Very Vanilla using Mossy Meadow ink. I cut them out using my scissors. The piece measures 1/2" by 1-1/2". I set it in place on top of the frame using Dimensionals.  And that was it, the card was done.

These little cut outs help make creating a card so quick and easy! Oh and not to mention cute!

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's friendship card,
Wanda
