Simply Said, Unbounded Beauty, Birthday Card, Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I have a birthday card to share with you. Please read on to see how it was made.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. It opens on the bottom and the fold is on the top.

I cut a 3-5/8" x 4-7/8" piece of Basic White card stock. I textured it using the "Distressed Tile" embossing folder. Then I glued that to the front of the card base.

Next I cut the pieces of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Unbounded Beauty" 12" x 12" package. The long piece measures 1" x 4" and the ends were snipped to look like ribbon ends. I glued that in place about 1-1/2" from the left edge.

Taking another piece of the DSP and using the second largest rectangle die from the "Nested Essentials" package I cut the piece and glued it to the front of the card about 1-1/4" from the left edge and 1" from the fold.

Using the same die I cut a Basic White piece. On that piece I stamped the words from the "Simply Said" set using black Memento ink. I glued it in place on the front of the card. It's about 2" from the left edge and 1-5/8" from the fold.

I cut some leaves from the "Textured Floral" bundle using Basic White card stock and I tucked them under the rectangles.

I added a few rhinestones I colored using the light Flirty Flamingo Blends pen.

This was a very easy and quick card to make. I love how simple it looks. Should I make another one I would pop up the word piece with Dimensionals.

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's birthday card,
Wanda
