The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Real Red card stock. I cut two pieces of Basic White card stock at 4" x 5-1/4". I taped one to the inside and the other I textured using the "Happy Hibiscus" hybrid embossing folder. I glued that to the front of the card.
I stamped the flowers using the "Happy Hibiscus" stamp. Then I die cut them using the matching die. I also textured them by putting them in the matching embossing folder. Once I finished the texturing I colored the flower using both light and dark Real Red Blends pen and the dark Daffodil Delight pen for the center of two of the flowers.
Leaves were die cut using Old Olive card stock.
The words are from the "Labeled With Love" set using black Memento ink. I cut them out using the circle die in the "Happy Hibiscus" bundle.
Dimensionals were used behind the larger flower and the word circle. I set the other pieces in place using glue.
I had colored some small rhinestones using my dark Real Red Blends pen and I set them in place on the front of the card. And the card was done.
This was a fun card to make and I REALLY love all the red.
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's birthday card,
Wanda
