The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. It opens on the right and the fold is on the left.
I textured a 1-1/2" x 5-1/2" piece of Basic White card stock using the "Distressed Tile" embossing folder. I glued it to the front of the card about 1" from the fold
Next I cut the rectangles, they are from the "Nested Essentials" set. I used the second and third rectangles. I taped them together on the Basic White card stock using some post it tape. Once cut I added pieces of Dimensionals to the back and I set it aside.
Using the second rectangle die I cut a piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Regal Winter" 12" x 12" package. I trimmed it where the dotted lines were so it wouldn't show behind the Basic White framed piece.
The words came next. They are from the "Labeled with Love" bundle and were stamped using Pretty Peacock ink.
The backing was removed from the framed piece and set it on top of the DSP. I did have a little hanging over but I just trimmed it off. Then I glued this in place 1/2" from the fold and 1-1/8" from the top edge. And that was it, the card was done.
So quick and easy to do. And a bit of elegance too!
Thank you SO much for taking your time to stop in and see today's birthday card,
Wanda
