Joyful Images, Christmas Card, Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I picked a card from the mini catalog, sort of. I used what I had and improvised. It's from page 17 if you'd like to see it. Please read on to see how I made this card.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock. I colored the bottom area using Real Red ink and my Blending Brush. I started at the bottom and worked my way up towards the middle. I kept the bottom area dark like in the photo.

The images are from the "Joyful Images" package. I used two candy canes, a bow, the envelop and a green strip. I put them together they way they looked in the photo.

The words were done on my computer. I used the font called "Ink Free" and the code for the Real Red color (R-201,G-30,B-69 for those of you who want the color code). I used 18 pt on the font. I trimmed it to 1-5/8" x 7/16". I glued it to the bottom edge of the envelope piece. Dimensionals were added to the back and the piece was set in place on the front of the card.

I just LOVE the way this card looks. It's SO pretty and I want to keep it and not give it away! LOL

Thank you SO much for taking your time to stop in and see today's Christmas card,
Wanda
