The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. On top of that is a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock that was textured using the "Happy Hibiscus" hybrid embossing folder. This is a fun folder because the dies in the "Happy Hibiscus" bundle has a die that matches the flowers. How fun is that? After embossing I glued the piece to the front of the card.
The flowers were stamped next. I used Crushed Curry for the outline and Daffodil Delight for the solid part. The leaves were done using Shaded Spruce for the outline and Old Olive for the solid part. I die cut the pieces out, plus I die cut three white flowers at the same time.
Dimensionals were added to the two larger flowers and they were set in place on the front of the card. I glued the smaller one in place.
Next came the leaves, they were tucked in and set in place with Dimensionals.
The tiny white ones were added using a dot of glue. Each of the flowers got a crystal rhinestone.
The words are from the "Simply Said" set and were stamped using Old Olive ink. I used the die from the "Happy Hibiscus" bundle to cut them out. They were set in place using Dimensionals and the card was done.
This was a very fun and easy card to make. I love the yellow on white, it's such a soft looking card.
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's birthday card,
Wanda
