The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. It opens on the bottom and the fold is on the top.
I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Pool Party card stock for the layer.
On top of the Pool Party layer are strips of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Reindeer Days" 12" x 12" package. I cut the top piece at 1-3/4" x 5". The bottom strips are on the backside of the deer paper. I cut the bottom strip at 1/2" x 5" and the middle strip was cut at 1-1/4" x 5". I taped the strips in place leaving about 1/8" space between them and also on the top and bottom edges too.
I stamped the words from the "Greetings of the Season" bundle using Real Red ink. Then I cut them using a die from the "Spotlight on Nature" bundle. I trimmed off the bottom of the circle about 1/2", tape was added to the back and I slipped the piece under the bottom strip just a bit.
The deer is from another sheet and I fussy cut it. Dimensionals were added to the back and it was set in place on the front of the card.
I also fussy cut a few trees that are from the same DSP that was used on the two bottom strips. I taped them in place and the card was done.
This was such fun card to make. It was quick and easy too.
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's Christmas card,
Wanda
