Greetings of the Season, Heartfelt Hexagons, Winter Meadow, Christmas Card, Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I have an easy Christmas card to share with you. This one is great for helping you use up some of that Designer Series Paper (DSP) that you have. I know I have a ton of it and would just love to sit down for a week and make cards all day long and try to put a dent in it. But for today I will just use a little and be happy with it! LOL Please read on to see how I made today's card.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. It opens on the right and the fold is on the left.

I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Blueberry Bushel card stock for the layer.

The next layer was made using Crumb Cake card stock and was cut at 3-1/2" x 4-3/4".

The strips of DSP were cut next. They are from the "Winter Meadow" 12" x 12" package. I cut three of them and taped them to the top of the Crumb Cake piece.

The bottom piece is the backside of the top piece and was cut at 2" x 3-1/4" and was taped to the bottom part of the Crumb Cake piece.

I took a 5" piece of ribbon (retired) and taped the ends to the back of the Crumb Cake piece. Then I taped the entire piece on top of the Blueberry Bushel piece.

The words are from the "Greetings of the Season" bundle and were stamped using Garden Green ink. The framed piece around them is from the "Heartfelt Hexagons" and was stamped using Blueberry Bushel ink. I punched the piece out, added Dimensionals to the back and set the piece in place on the front of the car.

I tied a bow with the same ribbon and glued it on top of the ribbon strip.

And for a final touch I added some of those adorable snowflake embellishments from the "White Loose Snowflakes" container.  And that was it. I am really liking this layout, It was easy enough to do and used up some of my DSP.

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's Christmas card,
Wanda
