Encircled in Nature, Snowflake Sky, Christmas Labels, Christmas Card, Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I have another Christmas card to share with you. Please read on to see how it was made.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. It opens on the right and the fold is on the left.

I cut a 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" piece of Basic White card stock and textured it using the "Snowflake Sky" embossing folder. I trimmed it to 5-1/4" x 4". I glued it to the front of the card.

The trees were cut using the die in the "Encircled in Nature" bundle and were cut from Basic White card stock. I cut two sets of these trees. I set them aside.

Next I cut the ring of berries. It's from the "Encircled in Nature" bundle. I cut it from Basic White card stock and colored it in. First I colored the stem part. I wanted to use Blends Pens but there's no Garden Green one. I wonder why? I used a marker to do that. Then I took my dark Real Red Blends Pen and colored each berry. Using the dark Cherry Cobbler Blends Pen I colored the tips of each berry. I also added a little bit of light Cherry Cobbler to one side of the berries. A chalk pen was used to add the white highlighting dots on each berry. After I finished that I thought I shouldn't have colored every berry. Skipping a few would have been a better choice.

I set the circle on the front of the card for placement. I placed one set of trees in the circle, I removed the circle and glued the trees in place.  Then I added a dot of glue to each berry and set the piece in place on top of the embossed piece.

The second set of three were trimmed up a bit on the bottom and small pieces of Dimensionals were added to the back and it was set in place over the ones that were glued down.

The words are from the "Christmas Labels" bundle and were stamped using Garden Green ink on a scrap piece of Basic White card stock. I fussy cut around them. Dimensionals were added to the back and they were set in place on the front of the card.

I added a pearl to the sky to look like a moon and the card was done.

It's not exactly what I had in my head when I started it but it's okay.

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's Christmas card,
Wanda
