The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. It opens on the right and the fold is on the left.
I began with cutting a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Mossy Meadow card stock. Then I cut a quarter sheet of Basic White card stock and textured it using the "So Swirly" embossing folder. Then I trimmed it to 3-7/8" x 5-1/8". I glued it to the Mossy Meadow piece and then that was taped to the front of the card.
The strips were cut next. They are from the "Season of Gold & Green" 12" x 12" package of Designer Series Paper (DPS), the center one was cut at 3/4" x 4-1/4" and the two sides ones were cut at 3/4" x 4". I glued them to the front of the card.
The circle was die cut next. It's from the "Spotlight on Nature" bundle, I used the second largest die for this piece.
The trees from the "Encircled in Nature" bundle and were stamped using Mossy Meadow ink. I bent the stamp a bit to make it fit better in the circle.
I stamped the words from the "Greetings of the Season" bundle using Mossy Meadow ink. Dimensionals were added to the back and the piece was set in place on the front of the card.
A white Baker's Twine bow was tied and glued to the front of the card on the circle.
I added a few "Genial Gems" (retired) to the front and the card was done.
This was a very fun, quick and easy card to make. I do like how it turned out. If I were to make another one I would use the "Snowflake Sky" embossing folder or the "Distressed Tile" embossing folder for a wintery or elegant look.
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's Christmas card,
Wanda
