Christmas Labels, Winter Meadow, Christmas Card, Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I have another quick and easy Christmas card to share with you. Please read on to see how it was made.

The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. It opens on the right and the fold is on the left.

I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Misty Moonlight card stock for the layer. I die cut the framed piece from the center before I taped it to the front of the card. I set the framed piece aside.

The Designer Series Paper (DPS) is from the "Winter Meadow" 12" x 12" package. It measures 3-3/4" x 5". I taped that to the Misty Moonlight layer.

The words are from the "Christmas Labels" bundle and were stamped using Misty Moonlight ink on a scrap piece of Basic White card stock. I cut them out using the same die as I did for the framed piece cut from the center of the Misty Moonlight layer. I cut off all of the outer part of that frame so I was just down to the solid part where the words are stamped. I taped the words part on the center of the Misty Moonlight framed piece, matching it up as best as I could. Dimensionals were added to the back and it was set in place on the front of the card.

I added some clear sequins to the card to give it a little bling. It just looked like it needed to be snowing.

This was such a quick card to make. One sheet of this DSP will make 6 cards and you get 2 sheets of this design per package. So I think I'm going to whip up 11 more cards in no time and it will put me at about 1/5 of what I need to get done by Monday.  YIKES!  Stress! But once the cards are done and out in the mail all I need to do is wrap a few gifts that should be arriving soon and bake some cookies, watch holiday movies and relax.

Thank you SO much for taking your time to stop in and see today's Christmas card,
Wanda
