Greetings of the Season, Snowy Scenes, Christmas Card, Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I have a quick and easy Christmas card to share with you. Please read on to see how it was made.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. It opens on the right and the fold is on the left.

I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Pool Party card stock for the layer. Once I had put the card together I thought that this piece would have looked nicer if it had been textured using the "Snowflake Sky" embossing folder. I taped the piece to the card base.

Next I cut a 4-1/4" x 3-1/8" piece of Basic White and on top of that is a 3" x 3" piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Snowy Scenes" 12" x 12" package. I taped this piece in place so I could see how much space I had for the words.

The words are from the "Greetings of the Season" bundle. I stamped them using Poppy Parade ink.

From the same "Snowy Scenes" DSP package I had fussy cut a snow globe from one of the sheets. I was going to tape it to the DSP but it kind of got lost so I took a piece of Garden Green card stock and I cut a circle from the "Stylish Shapes" set. I taped the globe part to the circle. I added Dimensionals to the back and I set it aside.

I took a 5" piece of ribbon (retired) and taped the ends on the backside. Then I taped this piece to the front of the card. I centered it by eyeing it.

I removed the backing from the Dimensionals and set the globe piece in place and the card was done.

This was such a fun and quick card to make and I'm very pleased with the way it turned out.

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's Christmas card,
Wanda
