Unbounded Love, Flowers of Beauty, Friendship Card, Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I have a friendship card to share with you. I found it on the internet and thought it was so pretty that I had to make one. You can see the original card here. Please read on to see how it was made.

The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. It was cut in half on the short side, so once it was cut the piece measured 4-1/4" x 11".

I cut a 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" piece of Petunia Pop card stock and I textured it using the "Distressed Tile" embossing folder. Then I cut it at 4" x 5-1/4".  I glued it to the front of the card.

Next I cut a piece of Berry Burst card stock that measured 2" x 4-1/4". I cut a piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) to from the "Unbounded Beauty" 12" x 12"package and taped it to the layer.

Then I cut the floral pieces using the "Flowers of Beauty" bundle. I stamped the greenery using Pretty Peacock ink. For the details on stem piece I stamped off once and then onto the piece. The flowers were done the same way. I stamped them sing Berry Burst ink. I cut the Pretty Peacock greenery piece and then I cut some extra leaves. There's a die that has two leaves joined together so I cut one off, I did this four times.

I used glue to set the Pretty Peacock greenery in place, then the stamped stemmed piece on top of that. The flowers were added and then I tucked in those leaves using a little bit of glue on the stems.

The words are from the "Unbounded Love' bundle and were stamped using Lost Lagoon ink on a scrap piece of Basic White card stock. I cut them out using the circle die in the "Unbounded Love" bundle. And the Berry Burst circle was cut using a die from the "Stylish Shapes" set. I taped the two circles together and then taped them to the front of the card.

I colored a rhinestone using my light Berry Burst Blends pen and set it in place on the word piece.

I didn't have any ribbon for the bow but I plan to order some so I'll be adding that at a later date.

This was a very fun and easy card to make. I just love the colors.

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's get well card,
Wanda
