The base of the tag is a piece of Basic White card stock. I textured it first using the "Timber" embossing folder. I cut it out using the largest die in the "Greetings of the Season" bundle. I prefer to cut first and then emboss but with this folder I thought it would shrink up my piece a bit so I embossed first and then cut. Fortunately the texture remained after cutting.
After cutting the tag I added a piece of Baker's Twine for the hanger.
Next I took a 1-1/2" x 2-1/2" piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Snowy Scenes" 12" x 12" package. I glued it to the center area of the tag.
Then the sled from the "Sophisticated Sled" bundle. The runner was cut from a piece of Early Espresso card stock. The body of the sled was cut using Pecan Pie card stock.
The skates and laces were cut from a scrap piece of Basic White card stock. I glued the laces in place though the slot on the skates. I used some silver foil card stock for the blades and I glued them in place. Then I glued the two skates together but offset a bit.
Glue dots were added behind the skates so I could add the Baker's Twine. My piece of Baker's Twine is about 3" long. I used a glue dot for the center of the twine and then attached the ends to the back of the skates. Once the twine was stuck to the back of the skates I added Dimensionals to the back making sure I put one on each side over the twine so it stays in place. More Dimensionals were added to the back of the skate and it was set in place on the tag.
The greenery was cut using a scrap piece of Mossy Meadow card stock. I had stuck it to the glue dot that's holding the twine but it was a bit unstable so I ended up gluing it in place.
I colored 3 small pearls using my dark Cherry Cobbler Blends pen. I set them in place on the greenery and the tag was done.
To and from will be printed on the back. It didn't come with the "Sophisticated Sled" bundle. I think I have another set with those words in it but I will just hand write it. If you want to stamp it you will need to do that before you texture and die cut it. I thought that would be a lot more work trying to get it straight. Another option is to stamp it on a separate piece of card stock and glue it to the back of the tag.
I made several of these today and I'm saving one out to work it into a card. I think it would be fun and cute.
Thank you SO much for taking your time to stop in and see today's Christmas tag,
Wanda

I just checked out all of the great cards I'd been missing. Sure that sled! (You were an enabler because I have the set now. )
What an awesome tag, Wanda! Yep, it will probably get tossed, but if you enjoy making them, then go for it!! That's what it's about I think - the enjoyment of creating.
