Sophisticated Sled, Christmas Card, Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome to my blog. Yesterday I made a few Christmas tags and today I took one of the tags I set aside to work into a card. This is what I came up with. Please read on to see how I made the card.

I took a folded half-sheet of Garden Green card stock and added a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock to the inside.

Another 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock was cut and textured using the "Falling Snow" embossing folder. It was then glued to the front of the card.

I cut a 4-1/4" x 2-7/8" piece of Garden Green card stock and added Dimensionals to the back. I set the piece on the front of the card centering it as much as I could by eyeing it.

Dimensionals were added to the back of the sled and it was put in place on top of the Garden Green layer.

You can see how the sled was made by viewing the instructions on yesterday's card. Click here to take you there quicker.

Snowflake embellishments were added to the front of the card. I used a large one to cover the hole where the string would go on the tag.

I do like how it turned out.  Now I'm rethinking the other tags I made that are just going to get tossed out and make them into cards. I probably won't do it but I'm thinking about it!!

I'm happy with the way this card turned out. I'll have to try some other tags and keep one to work into a card. It's fun to challenge myself (sometimes!).

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's Christmas card,
Wanda
