Greetings of the Season, Sentimental Christmas, Christmas Card, Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I have a Christmas card to share with you using Designer Series Paper (DSP) as the focal point. Please read on to see how it was made.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. It opens on the right and the fold is on the left.

I took a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Pretty Peacock card stock and textured it using the "Falling Snow" embossing folder. I glued that to the front of the card.

The strips were made using DSP from the "Sentimental Christmas" 12" x 12" package. Measurements for the strips of DSP are as follows: 4-3/4" x 5/8", 4" x 5/8" and 2-7/8" x 5/8".  And the Basic White layers were cut as follows: 4-7/8" x 3/4", 4-1/8" x 3/4" and 3" x 3/4".  I taped the layers together and glued them in place on the front of the card.

Next I cut the deer from the same package of DSP using a circle die from the "Stylish Shapes" set. The Basic White layer behind it was cut using a die from the "Spotlight on Nature" bundle. I taped the two layers together and added Dimensionals to the back. The piece was set in place on the lower part of the card.

The words are from the "Greetings of the Season" bundle and were stamped using Poppy Parade ink. I cut them out using the oval tag die in the bundle. Dimensionals were added to the back and the piece was set in place on the front of the card.

I added some "White Loose Snowflakes" embellishments on the front of the card. I glued them in place. I also glued one over the string hole on the tag. These little snowflakes are so cute. I'm glad I got them because they are not available right now. I've been trying to get my hands on the peppermint candies embellishments. They were out of stock and then back in stock but I was out of town and on an unsecure internet connection so I didn't dare purchase them. When I got home the next day they were already gone. GRRR.  They are SO darn cute! But I will just work with the snowflakes and be happy with what I have.

This was a fun card to make and I do love those little snowflakes.

Thank you SO much for taking your time to stop in and see today's Christmas card,
Wanda
