The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. It opens on the right and the fold is on the left.
I cut a 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" piece of Basic White card stock and textured it using the "Falling Snow" embossing folder. Then I cut it down to 4" x 5-1/4". I set it in place on the front of the card base using Dimensionals.
The Designer Series Paper (DSP) is from the "Sentimental Christmas" 12" x 12" package. I cut the pieces 1-1/8" x 1-1/8". I cut 4 pieces. Grab your favorite corner rounder and round two corners. One on the opposite side of the other.
The layer behind the DSP is a 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" piece of Boho Blue card stock. I rounded the opposite corners of those 4 pieces too. Then I taped the DSP to the Boho Blue card stock. Dimensionals were added to the backs and the pieces were set in place on the front of the card. I had the rounded corners on the centers of the "+" the open area formed.
I cut a snowflake from the "One of a Kind" bundle, a Dimensional was added to the center and it was place on the center of the 4 pieces of layered DSP.
I didn't like that I could see the Dimensional behind the opening in the center of the snowflake so I found a large crystal rhinestone and I set it over that space.
The words are from the "Sophisticated Sled" bundle and were stamped using Boho Blue ink on a scrap piece of Basic White card stock. I cut them out using the smallest rectangle in the "Perennial Postage" die set. I set the word piece in place using Dimensionals. And the card was done.
I do like how this card turned out. I think the 4 pieces kind of look like the form of a snowflake, not a pretty shape for a snowflake but who knows, it could be! But all in all I do like the card and I am considering making some for our family card this year.
