The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Night of Navy card stock. It opens on the right and the fold is on the left.
I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White and I taped it to the inside.
The piece for the outside is cut at 4" x 5-1/4" piece of the DSP and set aside.
The flowers were cut next and they are from t he "Cheerful Daisies" bundle. There is a group of three flowers on one die, I cut one of Basic White card stock. Next there is the top detailed pieces, there's three and you will need one of each. And there is a bottom piece for each flower and you will need one of each. Plus there's the branch looking piece, you need to of them. All were cut from Basic White card stock.
I used my light and dark Daffodil Delight Blends pen and colored the centers of the flowers. Then I glued the flower pieces together. Dimensionals are added to the back. I laid the piece on top of the DSP to see where the words would be going.
The words are stamped using Versa Mark and then white embossing powder was heated to set them. The piece was then taped to the front of the card base.
Now it was time to add the flower piece and branches. Once again I set the large piece on top of the DSP and I slipped the branch pieces under it. I carefully lifted the flower piece and glued the branch pieces in place. I removed the backing on the Dimensionals and set the flower piece in place. And that was it, the card was done.
This was a fun card to make. I love how quickly it went together and how easy it was to make.
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's birthday card,
Wanda
