The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Night of Navy card stock. It opens on the right and the fold is on the left.
Two 4" x 5-1/4" pieces of Basic White card stock was cut. One was taped to the inside and the other was set aside to be stamped and textured using the "Distressed Tile" embossing folder later.
Next I cut the squares. I used the cute fox from the Countryside Inn" 12" x 12" package of Designer Series Paper (DSP). It measures 2-5/8" x 2-5/8".
I taped that piece to another design from the same package and it measured 2-7/8" x 2-7/8". And then that was taped to a 3" x 3" piece of Night of Navy card stock.
I laid the layered square on top of the Basic White piece to see where my wording would be going. Once I knew that I stamped the words. Mine are from the "Wildflower Designs" bundle. They were stamped using Night of Navy ink.
Once the words were stamped I textured the piece using the "Distressed Tile" embossing folder. I glued this piece to the front of the card.
The square was set in place using Dimensionals and the card was done.
This is a quick and easy layout and a great way to use some pieces of scrap DSP.
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's thinking of you card,
Wanda
