Unbounded Love, Flowering Zinnias, Get Well Card, Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I made another card using yesterday's layout except it has one more layer. I love how cheery this card looks. The Real Red makes a big difference. Please read on to see how the card was made.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Real Red card stock. It opens on the right and the fold was on the left.

I cut two 4" x 5-1/4" pieces of Basic White card stock. One was glued the inside and the other was textured using the "Distressed Tile" embossing folder and glued to the outside.

I cut my layers next. I used the images from the "Flowering Zinnias" Designer Series Paper (DSP) 12" x 12" package. I cut the top one at 2-1/2" x 2-1/2". The Real Red layer was cut at 2-5/8" x 2-5/8", the next piece of DSP from the same package was cut at 2-7/8" x 2-7/8" and the next Real Red piece was cut at 3" x 3".

I taped the top two layers together and the bottom two layers together. Dimensionals were added to the top two layers piece and it was set in place on top of the bottom two layers.

Next I stamped the words from the "Unbounded Love " bundle using Real Red ink. I used the die from the same bundle to cut the words out. And the Real Red layer behind it was cut out using a die from that same bundle. I taped the words to the Real Red piece. Dimensionals were added to the back. I set the piece and the layered squares on top of the card for placement. Once I got them were I thought they looked good I removed the backing from the Dimensionals and set them in place on the front of the card and the card was done.

This was a fun card to make. I like it a lot better than the one I did yesterday. I'm not sure if it's the extra layer that was raised up with Dimensionals or if it's the Real Red color. It was just fun to make.

Thank you SO much for taking your time to stop in and see today's get well card,
Wanda

Love the embossed background for the Zinnias. Nice easy layout.

Your Zinnia DSP is a great focal point for this pretty card, Wanda! I love the texture from the e/f and your real red mat panels. It looks like it was fun to make! Thank you for the visit to me and the lovely comment. Hugs, Darnell
