Thoughtful Journey, Adventurous Sky, Birthday Card, Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I have a quick and easy birthday card to share with you. The original can be found on Pinterest. I changed it a little. You can see the original card here.  Please read on to see how I put this card together.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. It opens on the right and the fold is on the left.

I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock and textured it using the "Distressed Tile" embossing folder. I glued that to the front of the card.

Next I die cut the floral image from a piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Thoughtful Journey" 6" x 6" stack. I used the fourth largest die in the "Countryside Corners" set. and the Basic White layer behind it was cut using the third largest die on a piece of Basic White card stock. I taped the cut DSP piece to the Basic White piece.

Then I cut the fancy looking piece from the "Thoughtful Wished" bundle on a piece of Basic White card stock. I ran some tape along the back right side of the two taped layers and set it on top of the fancy cut piece.  The piece was then glued to the front of the card. I didn't add any glue on the fancy cut piece.

The words are from the "Adventurous Sky" bundle and were stamped using Mossy Meadow ink and cut using the die from the bundle. I just snipped the ends off so they were straight. Dimensionals were added to the back and the piece was set in place on the front of the card. That word piece measures 2" x 3/8".  And that was it. The card was done and so quickly too. It probably took me longer to get the materials together and put back when done than it did to make the card.

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's birthday card,
Wanda
