The base of my card is a 5-1/2" x 4-1/4" piece of Melon Mambo card stock, this is a quarter-sheet of card stock.
I cut an 8" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock and folded it in half. I textured the front using the "Distressed Tile" embossing folder. I taped this to the Melon Mambo card base. The Basic White piece opens on the right and the fold is on the left.
In my package of "Flowering Zinnias" 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper (DSP) I ran across a scrap strip. It measures 2" x 5-1/4". How convenient, that doesn't happen very often. I glued that on top of the Basic White piece.
Next I fussy cut a flower from the "Flowering Zinnias" package of DSP.
I took a piece of Basic White card stock and I stamped the words from the "Spot On Nature" bundle using Old Olive ink. I cut it out using the second largest circle die from the "Everyday Details" set. I had laid the flower over the area before I cut the circle out so the words could be at the bottom but not too far down or too far up.
The flower was taped to the circle. Dimensionals were added to the back and the piece was set in place on the front of the card.
I had some retired "Glitter Enamel Dots" and placed them on the front of the card and the card was done.
This was a super quick and easy card to make. I really like the colors.
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's thank you card,
Wanda
