Sketched Butterflies, Labeled With Love, Unbounded Beauty, Birthday Card, Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I have a card full of circles to share with you. I found it on the internet. You can see the original card here. There were a few measurements there but for some of the card I had to wing it. Please read on to see how the card was made.

The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. It opens on the right and the fold is on the left.

A 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Petunia Pop was cut for the layer.  And a 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" piece of Basic White was cut and then textured using the Distressed Tile embossing folder. Before I glued those two pieces together I die cut the butterflies and the circle. The circle used here is from the "Stylish Shapes" set and it was third smallest. Once those were cut I glued the Basic White piece to the Petunia Pop piece and then that was taped to the front of the card.

Next I cut the butterflies using some glitter paper that was gifted to me. It's called "Glimmer Paper" and I cut two larger butterflies and one small using the "Sketched Butterflies" bundle. I glued a glimmer butterfly to it's corresponding Petunia Pop butterfly and I set them aside.

The larger circles were cut next. They are from the "Unbounded Beauty" 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper (DSP) package. I was thrilled to find this card on the internet because it used this DSP. I was questioning why I had purchased this package but I have made a couple of cards with it and I'm hoping to find more. The circle die is from the "Stylish Shapes" set and I used the second largest one. Both circles are from the same package of DSP and are the same size. I glued the top one in place first and then the bottom one.

Then I stamped the words on the Petunia Pop circle. The words are from the "Labeled With Love" bundle. I stamped them using black Memento ink. 

A 7" strip of ribbon was cut (mine is retired) and folded in half and taped to the area where the little circle will be going. 

Dimensionals were added to the back of the circle and it was set in place on top of the ribbon piece.

Dimensionals were also added to the back of the butterflies and they were set in place on the front of the card. 

I had some retired "Candy Dots" (LONG time retired) and I figured they matched really well so I used them on the front of the card and the card was done.

I do like how the card turned out and it was fun to use some of that DSP too.
