Cheerful Daisies, Unbounded Love, Birthday Card, Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I thought I'd make one more card using the "Cheerful Dailies" bundle. I had some larger flower pieces in my little baggie stash. They are left over from other cards and I thought I should use these up. Please read on to see how I made today's card.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. It opens on the right and the fold is on the left.

I cut a 5-1/4" x 1" piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Unbounded Beauty" 12" x 12" package. I taped it to a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Petunia Pop card stock and that was taped to the front of the card.

A 3-1/2" x 4-3/4" piece of Basic White card stock was cut for the top of the card. I took my Blending Brush and scrubbed on some Petunia Pop ink in the center area of that piece.

I had three large flowers and I stamped the centers using an image from the "Cheerful Daisies" bundle using Petunia Pop ink. Dimensionals were added to the backs of two of them, the top and the bottom ones. I set them in place but didn't press down because I need to add the greenery and flower petals under them.

A little bit of glue was added to the middle flower and I slipped it under the other two flowers. I could have added this piece first but I wanted to make sure I got it where it would look the best and to do that I needed to add it last.

The words were stamped next. They are from the "Unbounded Love" bundle and were stamped using black Memento ink.

The greenery is from the same "Cheerful Daisies" bundle and Granny Apple Green card stock was used for that. I added a little dot of glue to the ends of the greenery and slipped  them under the flowers.

I glued the Basic White piece to the front of the card and the card was done.

This was a quick card to make, quicker if you have pieces sitting around! And it was easy to make too. I am pleased with the way it turned out.

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's birthday card,
Wanda
