The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Night of Navy card stock. It opens on the right and the fold is on the left.
I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock and it was taped to the inside.
A 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) is from the "Take to the Sky" 12" x 12" package and it was taped to the front of the card.
I cut a 3" x 4-1/4" piece of Night of Navy card stock and strips of DSP was taped to it. Those strips measured 1/2" x 4", 7/8" x 4" and 1" x 4". Dimensionals were added to the back and the piece was set in place on the front of the card. I centered it as much as I could by eyeing it.
The plane was cut next. I used the dies from the "Adventurous Sky" bundle. Cherry Cobbler, Smoky Slate and Basic Black card stock was used for it. I glued the pieces on. I took my Basic Black marker and colored the tires on the plane. The Basic Black bladed were glued in place. Dimensionals were added to the back and the piece was set in place on the front of the card.
I stamped the words from the same "Adventurous Sky" bundle and were stamped using Night of Navy ink on a scrap piece of Smoky Slate card stock. Using the dies from the "Unbounded Love" bundle I cut out the words and then the Basic White piece. I took my Smoky Slate marker and ran the belly of the brush side around the raised edges of the piece. I taped the word piece to the Basic White piece. A Dimensional was added to the back on the right and tape on the left and the piece was set in place on the front of the card. and that was it.
This was a very quick and easy card to make. I really like this set. I haven't even used half of the stamped images, I've been mostly playing with the dies. There's SO much you can do with this set. I am pleased with how today's card turned out.
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's masculine birthday card,
Wanda
