The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. It opens on the right and the fold is on the left.
A 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Boho Blue card stock was cut for the top layer. I textured mine using the "So Swirly" embossing folder. I glued that to the front of the card.
The strip of Designer Series Paper (DSP) are from the "Take to the Sky" 12" x 12"package. It was kind of nice to use up some scrap pieces. These pieces are cut 1" x 3" each and glued to the front of the card about 7/8" from the top edge. I centered the first one and then the other two were added.
Next I stamped the plane from the "Adventurous Sky" bundle using Night of Navy card stock. The words were added next and then the piece was cut out using the third die in the "Nested Essentials" set. I did set the die over the plane before stamping the words because I wanted to make sure I got them in the right spot and straight. I put the piece in place on the front of the card and the card was done.
This was such a quick and easy card to make. It's a fun layout and I can see myself using it again sometime in the near future.
Thank you for taking your time to stop in and see today's masculine card,
Wanda
