The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Misty Moonlight card stock. After cutting on the short side it measured 4-1/4" x 11". This card opens on the right and the fold is on the left. I cut off half of the front. Hindsight I should have only cut off about 1/4 or 1/3 of it but it is what it is. Save the piece you cut off, you will need it for a layer later.
After cutting my piece I took a piece of the DSP from the "Lets Go Fishing" 12" x 12" package and cut it at 4" x 2-1/2". I taped that piece to the front of the card.
Next I took a scrap piece of Very Vanilla card stock and stamped the border/frame from the "Heartfelt Hexagon" set using Misty Moonlight ink. Then I stamped the words on the inside of that frame. I fussy cut around it. I tried not to cut on the inked line and some of the vanilla showed but that was okay. What I like to do there is take the belly of my marker and run it along the edge of the card stock and cover that and no one knows what a horrible job of cutting I did!
Then I punched out a Misty Moonlight hexagon using the "Heartfelt Hexagon" punch. I taped the stamped hexagon to the punched hexagon. I used a few Dimensionals on the left side of the hexagon and set it in place on the front of the card.
For the inside of the card I taped a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Very Vanilla card stock. I though it looked too blah, that's why I said I should have cut 1/3 or 1/4 of the front off instead of 1/2. So I fussy cut a little fish and set it in the bottom right corner using a couple small Dimensionals. And the card was done.
