I took a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock for the base. It opens on the right and the fold is on the left.
I cut three strips of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Joy of Christmas" 12" x 12" package. They measure 1/4" x 4-3/4" and I cut three Real Red strips that measured 1/2" x 5". I glued the DSP to the Real Red strips. Tape was a bit too wide and glue seemed to work the best. With the mono glue you can slide it a bit to get it centered.
Next I stamped the gingerbread man from the "Sending Cheer" set using Pecan Pie ink. The face was stamped using black Memento ink and the hearts were stamped using Real Red ink. I then die cut it out using the matching die. I cut off the top loop on the gingerbread man's head because it can also be used for a hanging tag or an ornament.
For the layers behind the gingerbread man I used the 5th and 6th smallest circles from the "Deckled Circles" die set. I used the 6th smallest for the Basic White piece and the 5th smallest for the Real Red piece. I taped the circles together.
I laid the circle on the front of the card so I could see where the words would be going. The words are from the "Sending Cheer" set and were stamped using black Memento ink.
The circles were then set in place using Dimensonals and then the gingerbread man was set in place using Dimensionals. And the card was done.
If you have some scraps you can get rid of them on a layout like this. I did not have any scraps of this design but normally I do have plenty of scraps. This was a quick, easy, and fun card to make.
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's Christmas card,
Wanda

LOVE these little gingerbread men.
And adding the three thin panels of DSP behind ...... Completely finishes off this card.
I like the three matted stips and the cute snowman. Great card!
