Christmas Classics, Joy of Christmas, Christmas Card, Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I have a card to share with you that I found on Pinterest. I changed it just a bit because I was using materials that I had. You can see the original card here. Please read on to see how the card was made.

I used a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock for the base. It opens on the bottom and the fold is on the top.

I cut a 1" x 5-1/2" piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Joy of Christmas" 12" x 12" package and I taped it to a 1-1/4" x 5-3/4" piece of Garden Green card stock. Then that was taped to the center of the card base.

Next I cut a 3" x 4-1/4" piece of DSP from the same "Joy of Christmas" package. A 3-1/4" x 4-1/2" piece of Garden Green card stock was cut for the layer. Before taping the DSP to that layer, I die cut two holly leaves from the "Christmas Classics" bundle. After taping the DSP to the Garden Green piece, I set it in place using Dimensionals.

I had a stitched circle sitting on my table from the card I made on November 28th. You can see that card here. It was sitting on my worktable and when I saw that card I thought I should use it!  Why not? I glued the circle in place.

The words are from the "Joy of Christmas" bundle. I stamped them on a piece of Basic White card stock using Garden Green ink. Then I cut it down on my paper cutter1" x 2-7/8" on the "Christmas" and 1" x 3/8" on the "Merry" piece. I set the words in place using Dimensionals. I didn't press down on the "Christmas" because I needed to get the holly stems under it. I added a little glue to the stems and then pressed everything in place.

A few crystal rhinestones were added and the card was done.

This was a very quick and easy card to make and I got to use a piece of scrap sitting on my table.

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's Christmas card,
Wanda
