The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. It opens on the bottom and the fold is on the top.
I cut a 4-1/2" x 1-7/8" piece of Real Red card stock for the bottom layer.
Then I cut a 4-1/4" x 1-1/4" piece of Garden Green card stock. On top of that is a piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Joy of Christmas" 12" x 12" package. It measures 4-1/8" x 1-1/8". Dimensionals were added to the back of the piece and it was set in place on top of the Real Red piece.
I laid this piece on top of the card base to see where the words are going to go. I didn't want to tape it in place in the event that I mess up on stamping. Once I knew where I wanted the words to go I stamped them using Garden Green card stock. They are from the "Christmas Classics" bundle.
Once the words were stamped I taped the layered piece in place.
I colored three rhinestone crystals using my dark Shaded Spruce Blends pen. I wanted it nice and dark and since there are no Garden Green Blends pens. I set the rhinestones in place and the card was done.
This was a super quick and easy card to make, plus you get to use up some small pieces of scrap DSP.
Thank you SO much for taking your time to stop in and see today's Christmas cards,
Wanda
