Joy of Christmas, Christmas Classics, Christmas Card, Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I have a quick Christmas card to share with you. I found it on Pinterest and thought I'd give it a try. Mostly because I had all the stuff to make it and I thought it was pretty. An added bonus is, it's quick and easy to make. You can see the original card here.  Please read on to see how I made it.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. It opens on the right and the fold is on the left.

Next I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Garden Green card stock.  I took the largest stitched circle in the "Stylish Shapes" set and die cut it from the center of the Garden Green layer.

The Designer Series Paper (DSP) is from the "Joy of Christmas" 12" x 12" package. I cut it at 3-7/8" x 5-1/8".  I taped it to the Garden Green layer.  Then that was taped to the card base.

I stamped the "Merry Christmas" from the "Christmas Classics" set using Real Red ink. I die cut it using the second largest stitched circle from the "Stylish Shapes" set. After cutting I took the pine needles image and stamped on the upper part and lower part using Garden Green ink. I stamped once and then without adding more ink I moved the stamp at a different angle and stamped again. Then I taped the two circles together. Dimensionals were added to the back of the circle piece and it was centered on the front of the card.

For a final touch I colored three small crystal rhinestones using the dark Real Red Blends pen. They were set in place on the front of the card and the card was done.

This was such a super quick and easy card to make. I thought it was a perfect use for that busy DSP.

Thank you SO much for taking your time to stop by and see today's Christmas card,
Wanda
