The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. It opens on the right and the fold is on the left.
I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock and textured it using the "Distressed Tile" embossing folder.
Next I took a piece of DSP from the "Earthen Elegance" 12" x 12" package and cut it to measure 5-1/4" x 2". I glued it to the left side of the textured piece. Then I glued that piece to the front of the card.
The leaf is from the "Autumn Leaves" bundle and were stamped using Crushed Curry ink. I die cut it using the matching die in the bundle. It was set in place on the card using Dimensionals.
The words are from the "Darling Details" set and were stamped using Pecan Pie ink. I punched them out using the "Double Oval" punch. I also punched out the scalloped piece from the same punch using Pecan Pie card stock. I taped the two ovals together. Dimensionals were added to the back and the piece was set in place on the front of the card. And that was it, the card was done.
It's simple yet has a nice rich look to it because of the DSP. It's great for a masculine birthday card,
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's masculine birthday card,
Wanda

Great card. I love the fall brown colors. And then the brightness of the leaf.
What a beautiful fall card. So well balanced and perfect for a fall message.
Such a great fall card! I'm off to check out your other posts, to try to catch up a bit!
Wanda, I hadn't thought of using dsp from that collection but it works great for fall cards. I got that embossing folder but need to start using it. Nicely done!
