The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. It opens on the right and the fold is on the left.
I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Boho Blue card stock.
The DSP is from the "Countryside Inn" 12" x 12" package. My piece is cut on the left at 4" and on the right at 1-3/4". If you are cutting this from a 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" piece you can get two cards from one piece, providing the design can be used upside down. If it can't you can always add the DSP to the bottom instead and your card will still look pretty. I taped the DSP to the Boho Blue piece.
When I had cut my Boho Blue piece from a 5-1/2" x 4-1/4" piece I took the 1/2" strip for across the area where the DSP edge is. I actually went dumpster diving for mine. I had tossed it in my recycling basket. Clean dumpster but I always say I'm going dumpster diving when I have to find pieces in my recycling basket! I taped that piece over the DSP and the was pretty much centered over the edge of the DSP. I snipped the ends and then taped the whole piece to the card base.
The tag I used is from the "Taylor Made Tags" die set. I die cut it from a scrap piece of Boho Blue card stock.
I cut the Basic White piece for the center of the tag. It measures 1-3/8" x 2-3/4". I stamped the "You" first. It's from the "Sentimental Park" set. I used Boho Blue ink to stamp it. Then I stamped the "Thank" from the "Go To Greetings" set. I did mask of the "you" on that. I needed a different font "thank" to go with that big "You". I also stamped that using Boho Blue.
The flowers are from the "Two-Tone" Flora" set. I had stamped them using Boho Blue ink. My ink pad was a bit too juicy and my flowers got pretty dark so I didn't add the center detailed to them. But once it dried it didn't look as bad and I could have done the lines. I can always draw some in if I think it needs them but I think I'm going to leave it as it is because I compensated with the tiny rhinestones. This piece was set in place on the front of the card about 5/8" from the right side and from the bottom.
I had some blue ribbon (retired) and I tied a double thick bow and set it on the tag using a few tiny glue dots. I felt it was a bit loose so I added some glue to it too.
Three larger rhinestones were added to that Boho Blue strip and the card was done.
I do have the other half of that piece of DSP and I am planning on making another card but I think I'm going to texture the bottom part of the Boho Blue piece so it's not so plain and I think that would make the strip stand out better too.
It was a fun card to make and I think I can have a lot of fun using up some DSP I have in my stash. Plus you are using Basic White for the card base so the cards would be less expensive to make.
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's thank you card,
Wanda

These card are such my favorites. I love the two different backgrounds. The small details and the color choices
