Timeless Arrangements, Happiness Abounds, Friendship or Thank You Card, Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I ran a cross a quick and easy card on Pinterest. There's supposed to be a video but there was no link. You can see the original card here and please read on to see how I made it.

I couldn't decide if the wording here was for a friendship card or for a thank you card. Either would work.

The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. This card opens on the bottom and the fold is on the top.

I cut a 2-3/4" x 4" piece of Basic White card stock for the top focal piece. I textured it using the "Exposed Brick" embossing folder. I glued it to a 3" x 4-1/4"piece of Basic Black card stock. And then that was taped to the front of the card.

The words are from the "Happiness Abounds" set and were stamped using black Memento ink on a scrap piece of Basic white card stock. 

The leaves pieces are from the "Timeless Arrangements" bundle and were die cut using Basic Black ink. I used the leafy looking die and the one that looks like buds. I glued both of them to the back of the word piece. I added Dimensionals to the back of the word piece and set them in place on the front of the card.

A few black embellishments were added to the focal piece and the card was done.

This was a super quick and easy card to make. I think I'd like to try this in some other colors too.
