The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. On top of that is a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Fresh as a Daisy" 12" x 12" package. I had taped it to the card base. Now this is what I had found on my worktable.
There was also the word piece. I was going to use it on the card I made yesterday but it was too big so I set it aside. Well, it just so happened to have fit nicely with this layout. The words are from the "Textured Floral" set and were stamped using Mossy Meadow ink on Basic White card stock. I die cut them using the largest die from the "Nested Essentials" set. I set the word place in the center of the card using Dimensionals.
The flowers are from the "Cheerful Daisies" bundle and were die cut using Basic White card stock. I cut all three layers. The centers were colored using Lemon Lolly ink before they top two pieces were put together. The pieces were glued together. Then they were set in place on top of the solid piece using Dimensionals. I slipped them in under and round the word piece with glue on the backs.
I die cut two of the ferny pieces using Garden Green card stock. A little bit of glue was added to the bottom end of the stem and slipped under the flowers. And the card was done.
This was a super quick card to make. It was kind of fun finding the pieces on my worktable but the best part of it is, I used the pieces before they got ruined and I ended up with a finished card!
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's thinking of you card,
Wanda

Lovely layout.
Love when the DSP does most of the work for you.
