The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Night of Navy card stock. This card opens on the bottom and the fold is on the top.
A 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock was taped to the inside.
On the outside I took a piece of "Masterfully Made" Designer Series Paper (DSP) and cut it at 4" x 3" and a 4" x 1" piece. I taped the larger piece to the left and the strip to the right.
The daisies from the "Cheerful Daisies" bundle were die cut. I cut two sets of daisies and two sets of top detailed pieces. I glued the pieces together.
The centers were stamped using Fresh Freesia ink. I did sneak in stamping of the center of the smaller flower. It should have been done before the top detailed piece was glued on. The large centers were die cut and the smaller ones were fussy cut. I actually stopped typing to count the dies in the set thinking that the smallest one was missing but there was no small center die so I'm good! So where was I? LOL Oh, I glued the centers to each flower. Before I set the flowers in place I set them on the front of the card to get the orientation right. I realized that the flowers on the bottom were cut apart from the group of three. Dimensionals were added to the back of the flowers and they were set in place on the front of the card.
The words are from the same "Cheerful Daisies" set and were stamped using black Memento ink on a scrap piece of Berry Burst card stock. I die cut them with a die from the same bundle. That piece was glued on top of the flowers and the card was done.
The original card opened with the smaller strip on the right. It's fun but not what I needed. Even without that, this was a very fun and easy card to make. And pretty too, huh?
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's birthday card,
Wanda
