The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. This card opens on the bottom and the fold is on the top.
I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Boho Blue card stock and on top of that I taped a 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Countryside Inn" 12" x 12" package.
Next I took a 1" x 7" piece of Boho Blue card stock and taped it to a 1-1/8" x 7" piece of Basic White card stock. I taped it diagonally across the DSP layered piece and then trimmed the ends with a scissor. I then set this piece on the card base using Dimensionals.
The words are from "Sentimental Park" set and were stamped using Night of Navy ink. I die cut them with the stitched hexagon die from the "Sentimental Park" bundle.
The back layer behind the word piece is from the same bundle and I die cut it using Night of Navy card stock.
I picked up several of the flower dies and die cut them using Basic White, Night of Navy, and Boho Blue card stock. I glued them to the Night of Navy piece. Then the Night of Navy piece was set in place on the front of the card using Dimensionals.
The two larger open flowers were added using glue. Pearls were added to the flowers and a few to the Boho Blue strip and the card was done.
This was a very fun card to make. I loved playing with all of the flower pieces!
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's birthday card,
Wanda
