The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. This card opens on the right and the fold is on the left.
I cut a 3-3/4" x 5-1/8" piece of Boho Blue for the layer and I textured it with the "Painted Texture" embossing folder. I glued that to the card base.
Next I cut a 2-3/4" x 4" and stamped the leaves from the "Petal Park" set. I stamped the outline piece first, I stamped it twice to get it nice and dark using Granny Apple Green. Then I stamped the leaves but I stamped off first, I wanted them to be light.
Then I stamped the flowers on a scrap piece of Basic White card stock using Boho Blue ink. I stamped the outlines first, like I did with the leaves. I did stamp them twice, I wanted them dark. And the petals were stamped the same way by stamping off once. I didn't like how light they turned out so I added a drop of Boho Blue ink on my clear block and I squeezed out a bit of fluid from the "Wink of Stella" pen. I mixed the two well and just colored over the flower petals.
The centers of the flowers were colored in using my Lemon Lolly marker.
The words are from the "True Beauty" set and were stamped using Boho Blue on a scrap piece of Basic White card stock. I die cut them using the ribbon die from the "Stylish Shapes" set.
I added Dimensionals behind the Basic White panel, all the flowers, and the word piece. I set the panel on the front of the card first. Then I added the flowers, and then the word piece. And that was it, the card was finished.
This was a fun card to make and I really do like the blue sparkle on the flowers.
Beautiful card Wanda!

ReplyDeleteWould you consider doing a video on this beautiful card? I love your details but am trying to figure out how you cut the stems and who you got the green part on the base of the half daisies.
