Petal Park, Go to Greetings, Birthday Card, Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I have a fun, quick, and easy card to share with you. Please read on to see how I made this card.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. This card opens on the right and the fold is on the left.

I cut a 3-3/4" x 5" piece of Basic White card stock and I textured it using the "Painted Texture" embossing folder.

A 1-1/4" x 5" piece of Berry Burst Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Gorgeous Gingham" 6" x 6" stack. I glued that strip to the left side of the textured piece of DSP. Then I set this piece in place on the card base using Dimensionals.

Next I die cut the scalloped rectangle Basic White piece using the die from the "Color & Contour" bundle.

The leaves were stamped by using Granny Apple Green ink on the outline leaves image. It was set up in my Stamparatus and stamped that image twice to get a darker print. Then I stamped the leaves by stamping off once and then on the card stock. Again I had set that up in the Stamparatus.

The outline of the flowers were stamped using Cherry Cobbler ink and the flowers were stamped using Berry Burst ink. I fussy cut the flowers out. I set them aside.

The words were stamped next. They came from the "Go to Greetings" set using Berry Burst ink.

Dimensionals were added to the scalloped rectangle piece and it was set in place on top of the textured piece.

The flowers were added next using Dimensionals and the card was done.

This was such a quick card to make. I love this layout, it's a great way to use up some of those scraps of DSP.

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's birthday card,
Wanda

I love the gingham strip as an accent for the color of the flowers!
