The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. There are two layers on the front. One is a 4" x 5-1/4" and the other is 3-3/4" x 5".
The branch, leaves, flowers, and flower centers were die cut using the dies from the "Dainty Delight" bundle. I die cut the branch and leaves using Granny Apple Green card stock. The flowers and centers were die cut using Basic White card stock. I colored the flower centers using my dark Daffodil Delight Blends pen.
I laid the long branch piece on top of the smallest Basic White piece so I could see where the words would need to go. The words are from the same "Dainty Delight" set and were stamped using black Memento in,
Once the words were stamped I textured the piece using the "Painted Texture" embossing folder.
The branch was then glued in place on the front of the piece. I added a dot of glue on the back of each leaf and I set the piece in place.
Then I used a small dot of glue and set the flowers in place. The flower centers were added next. Oh and don't forget to add the four little leaves floating around. They sure do add a lot, don't they?
I glued that piece to the other Basic White piece. Dimensionals were added to the back and it was set in place on the card base. And the card was done!
This was a fun and quick card to make. I did enjoy making it and I could see myself making more.
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's thank you card,
Wanda
