The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. I cut a piece of Lemon Lime Twist for the layer and it measured 3-3/4" x 5".
I cut a 3-5/8" x 4-7/8" piece of Basic White for the top layer and I textured it using the "Painted Texture" embossing folder. I glued that to the Lemon Lime Twist piece. Dimensionals were added to the back and the piece was set in place on the front of the card base.
Next I fussy cut the alligator from a piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) "Zoo Crew" package. I added Dimensionals to the back and set it aside.
The circle is from the "Stylish Shapes" die set and I used the second largest one. I added Dimensionals to the back and set it aside.
The words are from the "Go To Greetings" set and were stamped using Lemon Lime Twist ink. I used the ribbon die from the same "Stylish Shapes" set to cut it out.
The strip of DSP is from the "Stargazing" 12" x 12"package and it measured 1" x 4". I taped it about 3/8" from each side and about 3/4" up from the bottom.
Next the circle was set in place and then the alligator.
The words were added with Dimensionals and I did double up on them on the right side. If I hadn't they would have been drooping on that side. And the card was finished.
I thought it was a fun card to make and I really do like this layout. I'm hoping I can use it again sometime soon.
